Between Fences focuses on every regon of the United States, telling American stories through diverse fence types.

VCSU Science Students Invite You & Your Students to the Planetarium

Time and Native American Sky Stories

"It's About Time"- This 40 minute program takes a lighthearted look at the various ways time has been calculated since early people first began observing the sun, moon, and constellatons. Appropriate for K-12.

"Native American Night"- This 30 minute program offers different perspective to the standard Greek and Roman constellation mythologies includng authentic stories about the stars and constellations told by several North American Indian Tribes. Geared for K-12.

Attention! Science Teachers!

The Science Division at Minot State University is offering grant-supported courses this summer in the sciences. The Math Science Partnership grant pays all tuition and fees, room and board, and travel expenses. In addition there is $100 per credit stipend for each participant. Applications Now available for 2008 Toyota International Teacher Galapagos Program

Selected grades 6-12 educators will travel to the remote Galapagos Islands from November 22- December 6 on a fully funded study program that is geared toward international and environmental study. Participants will work to create an interdisplinary lesson that can be implemented in their home schools.
